Privacy policy
Effective September 30, 2026.
CanRun is built so that you do not have to give us anything to use it. This page explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
- No accounts, no sign-ups and no forms.
- No cookies. CanRun does not set cookies, and there are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on the site at this time.
- The calculator runs in your browser. The GPU, memory and settings you choose are calculated on your device and are not sent to us. Your choices are written into the page address so you can bookmark or share it. If you share that link, whoever receives it can see those choices.
- GPU detection stays on your device. When you press the detect button, your browser tells the page which graphics chip it is using. That check happens only in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. To deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address and browser type, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. We do not receive a list of visitors from this.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We do not share them with anyone. If you would like your messages deleted, tell us and we will delete them. We receive email through Google's Gmail.
Changes
If we add analytics, advertising (for example Google AdSense) or affiliate links in the future, we will update this page before they go live, including what cookies they use and what choices you have.
